Bruce Springsteen, live at The Main Point, Bryn Mawr, PA on 5th February 1975. The Ultimate Edition. Previous releases of this legendary performance have all suffered from a major dip in sound quality on disc two, until now! This Ultimate edition now features the second set in superb fidelity, making this the definitive release of this show. This epic gig was a benefit for the Main Point coffeehouse. Boasting early versions of several tracks from Springsteen s forthcoming breakthrough Born To Run album (including Thunder Road under its original title, Wings For Wheels), as well as rare performances of Back In The USA by Chuck Berry and I Want You by Bob Dylan, it has been described as one of the most outstanding performances of his career. Originally broadcast on the local WMMR-FM radio station, it s presented here together with background notes and images.
